Oh, how much fun little boys can be!

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Walfoort family.  Brrr ... we had a cold morning to shoot ... but {thankfully} the you'd never know it thanks to the beautiful soft light of early morning.  The two little guys in these photos were SUCH troopers!  They kept mom, dad, and me smiling throughout their session ... and provided me with several belly laughs during editing.  I just love the innocent authenticity of this family session!

It may be the holiday season for a lot of folks ... but this little lady has something extra to celebrate:

Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting sweet baby Alissa and her family.  By definition, this session was supposed to be a "Cake Smash."  However, I also took advantage of Alissa's cuteness ... and captured some very sweet birthday images as well as a few Christmas shots.

Happy Fall

This month I had the "pleasure" of taking my own family portraits.  First, we attempted to capture Christmas card photographs to send to friends and family.  The funny thing about photographer's children is this:  they are SO accustomed to mommy having a camera in hand ... they tend to pick and choose when THEY would like to have their pictures taken.  That day ... my boys decided it was a "no go."  Nevertheless, I captured a few decent images that may soon arrive in your mailbox.  :)

A few days later ... I made a second attempt to capture some nice images of our little family.  I played this one off a bit more relaxed.  And, with the help of my tripod, captured some magic.
