This morning I had an absolute blast photographing sweet Kyle.  His mom scheduled this session to commemorate his 5th birthday earlier this month.  However, I have to say ... for 5 years old, Kyle was incredibly mature and easy to work with.  This little (or should I say big?) fella never complained about the wintery weather, and kept a huge smile for me the whole time.

Here are a few of my favorite images from my 2012 sessions that composed my portfolio season and made it possible to launch Favorite Things Photography's blog, Facebook page, and professional website.

Favorite Things Photography is beyond enthusiastic about what lies in store for 2013.  It will be our first year as an "official" photography business -- a great year for preserving your precious memories and for making memories of our own.

A few reminders about 2013 photography sessions:

1.  Please remember to book early!  FTP sessions are limited and are already beginning to fill up.

2.  FTP is an on-location photography studio for both the Winchester, Virginia-area AND the Roanoke, Virginia-area.  My "additional travel" fees will be waived for the Roanoke-area, but session dates must be flexible.  As always, I will travel anywhere within 25 miles of my home free of charge.

3.  Everyone who books a session between January - September 2013 will be entered into a drawing to win a FREE Digital Christmas Mini-Session.  You will receive one entry for each session you book this year ... and there are no limits on the number of entries per person!  So, Good Luck!

Logan's Sneak Peek

This weekend I had both the pleasure of traveling to my beloved Roanoke, Virginia and of photographing 13-year-old Logan.

How handsome can you get, right?  Seriously!  I'll admit, I was a bit nervous about shooting a session with a teenage boy, but Logan proved not only to be an absolute natural but also incredibly handsome.  He was excellent at something I am not good at when I'm in front of the camera:  looking serious without looking angry.  Wow!  This young man made everything look easy!

I think his session sneak peek is proof of that!
